Looking for Karalynn Hamblin

I'm an old friend from Layton, Utah looking for Karalynn Hamblin, she is the daughter of Carl and Kari Hamblin and they moved to Wales in about 1996. I haven't seen Karalynn for about 2 1/2 years when she came to my wedding reception in Ogden, Utah. If anyone knows how I can get in contact with her through email, phone or mailing address I would really appreciate it! My email address is minster2005@hotmail.com. Thank you! ~Elizabeth

Great 4th of July celebration!

Congratulations to those in charge of the celebration in Manti City for a fantastic 4th of July! It was one of the best I think there has been. Our family spent a good portion of the day at the park listening to the entertainment and checking out the booths and games. It was very well organized, and there was something for eveyone.

A special thanks to the "Mr. Man" contestants for a great performance! You were all winners.

The fireworks at the end of the day were a perfect way to end a great celebration for the birth of our nation. Great job!!!

Gutters and sidewalks

I was wondering if there were any plans in the city's future of expanding the number of streets with curb and gutter features and possibly sidewalks. As our town grows, we will need these in specific traffic-heavy areas of Manti.

Tell me what you think.

Great Website! Suggestions?

From purusal through the new website I was pleased to see it has significant potential! What is needed? Addiing items regarding updates to the proposed Manti City Aquatic Center. Information about funding, location and volunteer help would be pertinent information that our residents would like to know.

Lastly, having items for the 13+ young people living in Manti would be a value What about having a youth council representative bring-up suggestions and or needs from our youth?

From what I see the website is a great idea and I urge ALL city officials to use it. Many residents will eventually learn to use it and will eventually find time to add comments. Comments and suggestions that can be meaningful for our Manti City elected officials and citizens within the community.

Should Manti City Be A Tree City?

I have seen reference made in the April 7th as well as May 5th City Council minutes regarding Manti City becoming a Tree City. I would like to know exactly what this means. Does Manti City receive a grant if they become a Tree City? If so, in what form does the grant come. Also, what does Manti City have to comply with in order to become a tree city and how will this affect the local
citizens?

Thank you.
