Aquatic Center in Manti City

First the website is a great idea that has potential for the entire community within Manti. From my perusal what I found missing are items for our younger generation 13+. We need to realize if we don't put forth an effort for our younger generation we will continue to push them out to the "big city".

The effort in building the city pool is a good start; however, we need to see where we are with the aquatic center. What amount has been raised and amount needed? What are the plans and potential location(s). "Pool Committee" the ball is in your court to tell the community where you are via this website!

Please post more info

The city council has appointed seven (7) people onto the aquatic board to plan, review and implement the building of Manti's Aquatic Center. Many Manti City citizens would like to further support this effort but would also like to see more information about the Aquatic Center. Melanie you are the appointed chair delegate this responsibility to someone.

No jobs to keep us here

I'm 19. I'm moving to Hawaii. I'd live here if there were jobs. But alas....

My family is moving to El Paso, Texas where my mother has found a job, finally. I wish Sanpete county as well as Manti city had more job opporunities.

Pool committee needs to post info

There are others who understand and concur with your feelings of the lack of activities for our young adults. The most important item you can do is to get your education, get experience and be open-minded. Fortunately, having Snow College nearby is a plus but yes there are few jobs for young adults. Most of key jobs require as noted above further education. Getting out and seeing other places is a plus. Our family has been in many places in the world but our home is Manti City. One item that is clear is change will occur.

I just wish someone from the pool committee would answer some of my questions? This committee has been working on this for a long time but I can't find anything about their efforts on this web site?
