Manti swimming pool information meeting

There will be a public information meeting on February 22, 2005 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where representatives of the architectural firm, pool specialists, the financial advisor and members of the pool committee will present information, answer questions and accept your comments and suggestions concerning the new pool.

Pool Meeting February 22, 2005

I'm pleased that our older citizens in Manti were enganged and voiced their wishes.  They too understand and want a place where both old and young can meet and interact.  The new pool can help to bridge this gap.  I'm pleased with the pool committee and their efforts.  Great job!  Proper feedback was presented to citizens and effectively displayed within the Sanpete Messenger. 

Suggest we use the pool committee to influence Sanpete County to improve the fair grounds and needs for an indoor arena near the pool.

Neatto.com, willing to help

Neatto would delighted to help the city with raising funds for this swimming pool. It would be a great benefit for the community and an good incentive for visitors, who often call our motels being disappointed that there aren't any pools. We are engaging in a new market as an online auction fundraiser service.

People from the community can donate items that can be bid on by friends and family nationwide. Even services, like hotel stays and golf games can be donated and bid upon.

It's very easy, interactive and has a broad reach. When it's done, people can pay for items/services online, instantly. We've had a few successes from Utah, California, and Texas.

I'll inquire directly in a council meeting soon.

Like to see updates on the pool; Schedule for 2007

It is clear from city minutes that the new city pool is scheduled to be completed ~memorial weekend in 2007.  Or is it not going to be completed on time?  As stated in 2005, providing updates on the final look/feel of the pool and schedule for 2007 would be appropriate and needed for the community within Manti and Sanpete.  Using this website to post these details and input would be a nice and simple suggestion.

Nice to see more information about the pool!

It is great some updates and details on the pool is provided within the city website.  Would hope to see some snapshots of the pool as well?
