Manti Aquatics Center

The new Manti Aquatic Center will be opening on Memorial Day weekend. Swimming classes are being offered throughout the summer. See the Aquatic Center page for more information.

Manti Temple

The beautiful Manti Temple sits atop the hill at the North end of Manti and is the dominant structure in the city. Built between 1877 and 1888 by the pioneers who settled this Sanpete Valley, it is a place of worship for members of the LDS church. We invite you to tour the grounds and enjoy the flower gardens and the wonderful view of Manti.

Manti Canyon

Nearby Manti Canyon is a beautiful escape into the mountains that overlook the peaceful Sanpete Valley. A half-hour drive up the canyon will bring you to the Skyline Drive. Numerous trails twist through the area which are suitable for mountain biking, horseback riding and 4-wheeling. The area also offers excellent snowmobiling in the winter.

Historic Old City Hall

This beautifully restored historic building was built in 1875-82 and was used for over 100 years to house the Manti City offices. It is now occupied by a tourist information center, and a museum, with a beautiful social hall on the second floor. The Italianate Style architecture is unique to the Mountain West and this building is one of the few public buildings of its kind.

Historic Manti Homes

Many of the original homes built in Manti are still standing and have been beautifully restored. These homes demonstrate the resourcefulness of the pioneer settlers. A walking tour is available along with an informational booklet that will provide you with the history and details of each home.

Mormon Miracle Pageant

Held each year in June on the grounds of the Manti Temple, the Pageant follows the trek of the pioneer settlers to Utah and recounts a brief history of the ancient civilizations of America. For more information please call: 1-888-255-8860 or 435-835-3000.

Sanpete County Fair

The county fair is held annually in mid August at the country fairgrounds in Manti. Activities include a carnival, rodeo, demolition derby, livestock show, craft show, pet show, food booths and more. For more information please call: 435-835-1351.

4th of July Celebration

Come celebrate the 4th of July in Manti! Our Old Fashioned 4th of July celebration has it all... a beauty pageant, a pancake breakfast at the city park, a patriotic program, food booths and games, a watermellon bust and of course a fireworks show to end it off right.
